Vancouver: World-class city gets a boost
Lisa and Robert Simpson have opened a beautiful distillery and tasting room/bar on Granville Island in the heart of the city. They use B.C. products to make their spirits, including wheat for the Truth Vodka and barley for the Railspur No. 1 White (it now has to be sold as a white spirit because it hasn’t aged long enough to be labelled a whisky). The white spirit seems promising. The vodka is terrific; very clean and crisp. And they recently introduced their Endeavour Gin.
